Export Documentation

A complete guide to the documents we prepare and provide with every shipment from India.

Every export from Samved Tradelink is backed by a complete documentation package in compliance with Indian export regulations (DGFT) and the import requirements of the destination country. Below is an overview of the key documents included with our shipments.

Commercial Invoice

A detailed invoice issued by Samved Tradelink to the buyer, stating product description, quantity, unit price, total value, and terms of sale. Required by customs authorities at both origin and destination.

Packing List

Lists the contents of each carton or pallet — net weight, gross weight, dimensions, and marks. Issued alongside the commercial invoice for every shipment.

Bill of Lading / Airway Bill

Issued by the shipping line or airline, this document serves as the contract of carriage and proof of shipment. We coordinate with freight forwarders to ensure timely issuance.

Certificate of Origin

Issued by the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) or local Chamber of Commerce, confirming the goods are of Indian origin. Required for preferential duty treatment under trade agreements.

Phytosanitary Certificate

Issued by the Plant Quarantine authority, certifying that agricultural products meet the phytosanitary requirements of the importing country. Mandatory for all plant-based exports.

IEC (Importer Exporter Code)

Our IEC issued by DGFT, Govt. of India authorises us to conduct all export operations legally. A copy is available on request.

GST & Tax Invoice

All domestic procurement is backed by GST-compliant tax invoices. Export shipments are made under Letter of Undertaking (LUT) without payment of IGST.
